Luang Prabang and Hanoi, a bit of a contrast
Yesterday we were in little quiet Luang Prabang sitting peacefully watching monks go by. Fast forward 24 hours and we're in Hanoi, walking with the constant fear of being hit by one of the ridiculous number of scooters on the streets.
Kuang Si waterfall, Laos
Today we took a share tuk-tuk out to the stunning Kuang Si waterfalls about an hour outside of Luang Prabang. I hope the pictures do it some justice, it's beautiful. We swam in it, despite the coldness and feet-biting fish it was great.
Hello Laos
I've just completed the two day slow boat journey from the Thai border to Luang Prabang. It was very relaxing just peacefully moving along the Mekong taking in the scenery.
